Quality: SBD 9.5
This is one of the better sounding 1980 soundboards. Not as dry as alot of them. This is probrably in the top five of my favorite 1980 shows. The mix is very well. Bonzo seems a tad bit louder in the mix than usual, which I really like, because it gives the sound a more punchy feeling to it. Overall, a great sounding 1980 bootleg.

Performance: 9
You'd think that since it's the opening night of the tour, the band wouldn't be as sharp, or would be going easy. Well, that wasn't the case. This is actually one of the better performances of 1980. It was ineteresting to hear how they did Whole Lotta Love as an intro to Heartbreaker, and then did Whole Lotta Love as an outro after Heartbreaker. A great show...

Yes, if you could fix the link, I would love to hear this!

Best of luck to you. I remember the old days when LZ fanzines like Proximity (anyone remember it!?) were the only way to connect with other fans. Finding blogs like this feels like coming home!
